Painted for Glenn Edward's sermon's United Presbyterian, Albany, Oregon. Elizabeth, who is further along in her pregnancy, is more pastel. Baby John leaps for joy at the approach of his Lord Jesus in Mary's womb. Mary is expecting our Lord here and is painted in a light purple, her belly is a darker purple showing the presence of our Lord. The star emulating from Mary is the light of Christ, illuminating our way through advent.

My first silk painted in 1998, a Pentecost silk for United Presbyterian Church, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the speaking of tongues! Imagine how understanding all of our brothers and sisters with language as no obstacle would unify our church! Art breaks the language barriers! This banner is 80 feet long and depicts the flames and the wind.

The 100 Years From Now is a parenting philosophy which I have held as my mission and why I am a slow going artist. I get caught up in art goals and need to re-read this
banner to remind myself of what is truely important in life. It reminds me that it is disturbing and non-productive to dwell on
what I haven't accomplished, when my greatest gift and accomplishment and greatest gift from my Lord and Saviour is my child.
I hope that these banners will touch the lives and reprioritize the lives of parents and families across the world.

Little lamb (That’ you!) When you wake
and feel our Lord’s hands, the strong hands
of a carpenter/shepherd, it will be our Lord
calling YOU by name. Perhaps you can feel
the hair on the back of His hands, or the tickle
of His beard as He kisses you awake, the father
to His beloved arousing His child from the sleep
of death.
I believe our death is our birth into His arms!
The sunny day, blue blues were Loren’s favorite
colors. Summer is Loren’s season.
I believe Loren would approve of this
painting. Using the Shepherd was meaningful
to me on many levels, as a Basque Shepherd’s
granddaughter. What a privilege to meditate
on our Lord holding Loren!

This banner was created with the help of the Holy Spirit. Attending a Baptism reminds us
of our own baptism. Baptism reminders refresh, cleanse and center us on our belief as a
family member in Christ. The elements of sky, the Holy Spirit and the water can be taken
with us everyday into daily life. Perhaps if we meditate on these elements, we can bless others.
John 1:32 And John bore witness "I beheld the Spirit descending as a dove from heaven,
and it abode upon him...it is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit".
I imagine the clouds parting, the 3 Heavenly Hosts from heaven, and the 3 Heavenly Hosts emmulating
from the Dove/Holy Spirit into our elements and into our spirits. (My favorite work to date.)
